Capio Lundby Specialistsjukhus is located at Wieselgrensplatsen, less than 10 minutes by public transport from central Gothenburg. Through a comprehensive care agreement with Västra Götalandsregionen, we provide specialist healthcare in dialysis/kidney medicine, surgery, medicine, psychiatry, ophthalmology, ENT, and an operating unit for day surgery.

At our cardiology clinic, specialists, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work closely together. Together we form a well-functioning team that works according to national guidelines with the goal that all patients receive the care and knowledge they need based on their personal needs.

We also collaborate with other professional groups in the Medicine Unit, such as dietitians, biomedical analysts (BMA), physiotherapists, and social workers. The close contact with diabetologists and nephrologists enables quick assessments and investigations for patients with complex medical conditions. At the same time, our community contributes to a pleasant work environment with room for both collaboration and camaraderie.

The cardiology clinic offers both specialist healthcare within the framework of our extensive regional agreement and a smaller portion of insurance care. As a cardiologist with us, you will have the opportunity to follow the patient from referral to investigation and follow-up, in close collaboration with experienced colleagues at the clinic.

At the clinic, we perform, among other things, electrical conversion of atrial fibrillation carried out at our day surgery unit, ultrasound/doppler, exercise ECG, 24-hour blood pressure measurements, and long-term ECG recordings with Holter.

We are looking for you who are a specialist in Cardiology. Experience in outpatient work and the ability to independently perform UCG examinations is a requirement. We are looking for someone with a strong interest and commitment to medical quality and operational development within your specialty. You enjoy influencing, taking responsibility, have good collaboration skills, and find it important to have good communication and a pleasant demeanor. You work with a focus on quality and efficiency.
