What we will do together As a Data Engineer with us, you will work on developing and maintaining data solutions that enable our customers to make data-driven decisions. You will build pipelines, data warehouse solutions, and develop applications for data processing, focusing on scalability, performance, and usability. You will also create or integrate technical solutions for ETL and data mining, and contribute to the work with analysis and machine learning.

What we are looking for in you We believe you enjoy finding smart, innovative solutions that meet customer needs. You are used to working broadly, thrive in teams, and are driven by curiosity and challenging projects. In addition, we would like you to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in similar roles, with experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, and/or analytics.
  • Very good knowledge of SQL, and one of the following: Python, Node.js, or Java
  • Experience working with one or more cloud-based platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with taking responsibility for agile projects from start to finish, and finding creative solutions
  • Ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish and English. It is a plus if you have:
  • Experience with MLOPS, such as ML Flow or similar
  • Experience with Data Mesh, Data Products
  • Knowledge and experience of one or more big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Kafka, or Spark.

About Softhouse At Softhouse, we are about 300 employees spread across 10 offices. We have been coding software since 1996, and together we ensure that we create solutions that meet our customers' needs - we deliver world-class services and software. Our Stockholm office, with nearly 40 developers, designers, and digital strategists, is centrally located in an attic. In Uppsala, our developers and designers are located on Svartbäcksgatan with a view of the Cathedral.
