The Culture and Education Administration aims to provide the education, care, and inspiration that our small and large citizens need throughout the various stages of life. The Culture and Education Administration consists of two departments - the school department and the preschool, culture, and leisure department. The activities within the school department include all forms of schooling from preschool class to adult education, as well as student health. The preschool department includes all of the municipality's preschools and family day care providers, as well as culture and leisure, which consists of libraries, cultural schools, and youth leisure.

As a curator with us, you will be part of the municipality's Central Student Health, primarily located at Munkedal School and Knowledge House.

This offers a unique opportunity to work with both younger students in grades F-6 and older students at the high school level. You will be part of the schools' student health team, where collaboration and cooperation with parties both within the municipality and with external organizations such as BUP will be included. At the high school level, you will be one of two curators working in a team. Together with school nurses, psychologists, and curators, you will be part of the municipality's central student health, which is part of the school department in Munkedal Municipality.

Job Description

The work involves close collaboration with the schools' student health team, which includes the principal, school nurse, psychologist, and special educators, but also collaboration with educators at the schools. In this close cooperation with the student health team and educators, the assignment is primarily fulfilled by working preventively with students in groups. It may also involve guidance for educators and observations in class, as well as various types of investigations. Contact with guardians and external actors is a natural part of the position. You are an important part of shaping the schools' value-based work and are active in the development of governing documents and working methods. You will also be responsible for the schools' work on increasing student attendance. Together with your curator colleagues, you will conduct training initiatives and YAM education, and take responsibility for the entire school department's development work.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in social work or another relevant higher education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience as a school curator is an advantage.
• YAM training is an advantage.

Your ability to create trusting relationships and connect with our students is seen as significant. We value that you feel comfortable speaking in front of groups, both individually and together with other professionals, and that you can convey your message in an accessible way. Your self-driven approach means that you take responsibility for your work and drive your processes in the desired direction. Furthermore, we want you to be articulate in both speech and writing and be well acquainted with working and documenting via various computer programs.
