Your Mission

In the fall of 2024, we opened the doors to a brand new school, Drottning Blanka High School Göteborg Operan. We offer a permanent position as a school counselor at 20% (with the possibility of extension for the academic year 2025/2026). As a school counselor with us, you will be part of the school's student health team. You have a great opportunity to influence and develop your own role and enhance the school's student health with a student-oriented mindset. You will have the opportunity to work within the EHT team to support and develop students both academically and health-wise. Your Profile

DBGY Göteborg Operan is looking for you, an experienced School Counselor, who wants to take an important role in our student health and work proactively and preventively for our students' achievement. You have a great opportunity to influence and develop your own role and enhance the school's student health. It is important that you enjoy working for good quality and have the ability to plan, prioritize, implement, and evaluate. You are empathetic, secure, attentive, and have a good approach. You are a positive and flexible team player who can easily adapt to different situations that may arise quickly in our workplace. You see opportunities in changes. You are a social worker or behavioral scientist with experience working with children and adolescents, both individually and in groups. As a colleague, you are unpretentious, inspiring, and easily take your own initiatives while seeing opportunities instead of obstacles.

Other

The position is a permanent employment at 20% with an initial probationary period of 6 months, provided you meet the requirements of the Education Act for eligibility. Start date is according to agreement.
