Are you a technically skilled problem solver with a sense of service?

You have several years of experience in IT and thrive in a role where you can combine your technical breadth with a genuine commitment to users. You have the ability to quickly understand complex environments and solve problems efficiently – while explaining the solutions in a pedagogical way.

You have a great interest in technology, infrastructure, and networks, and you are used to working independently with both support and improvement work. Communication is one of your strengths, and you understand the importance of clear feedback – both internally and towards customers.

We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in similar roles. You enjoy taking responsibility, are eager to contribute to process development, and are an important player in the team – both technically and socially.

Responsibilities – Senior IT Technician 

As a senior IT technician, you will be responsible for ensuring a stable, secure, and efficient IT work environment for the organization’s users. You will work proactively and strategically with both operations, support, and development of workplace solutions. Your efforts will have a direct impact on user experience, productivity, and information security.

Examples of responsibilities:

  • Independently install, configure, and manage client platforms, printers, phones, and other workplace devices
  • Lead troubleshooting and manage complex technical incidents related to the workplace environment – both on-site and via remote support
  • Ensure patch and update management according to security standards and monitor system health and compliance
  • Support users at an advanced level, as well as contribute to user training and knowledge sharing internally
  • Document changes, improvements, and solutions in a structured manner, as well as manage inventory and lifecycle management
  • Contribute improvement suggestions for increased automation, efficiency, and quality in workplace processes and technical platforms
  • Work closely with IT operations, information security, and architecture to ensure a holistic perspective and continuous development

Qualifications

  • At least 4–5 years of experience working with IT workplace solutions in larger organizations
  • Good knowledge of Windows platforms, M365, network connections, troubleshooting, image management, and client distribution (e.g., Intune, SCCM)
  • Experience working independently with improvement work and change management
  • Experience creating and following up technical documentation and procedures
  • Strong communication skills and experience providing support to both technical and non-technical users
  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
