Who am I?

I am a 17-year-old girl living in Hägersten with my family. I enjoy just being, hanging out with my parents and little sister, swimming, and feeling the wind on my face. People around me often say that my cheerful mood and laughter are contagious. I am a calm and secure person. To be able to take part in everything life has to offer, I use personal assistance around the clock. I have SLO syndrome, which for me means multiple disabilities, a combination of extensive intellectual and motor disabilities. I communicate without speech and sometimes have difficulty expressing what I want or how I feel, which requires you to show attentiveness and patience.

Who are you?

I am looking for a cheerful and engaged person. It is a merit if you have worked with young people with multiple disabilities and/or have experience as a personal assistant. I need continuity in the assistance, so you who are applying need to know that you want to work as a personal assistant in the long term. I am looking for someone who is attentive, responsible, meticulous, proactive, and secure as a person. You also need to have the ability for self-leadership and see solutions to situations that may arise in my life. For me, it is not only the caring aspects that are in focus; it is equally important to enjoy what life has to offer and everything that makes life worth living. The job requires a strong commitment to another person who needs extensive support in everyday life. I am looking for someone aged 21-40, preferably female applicants, but personal suitability is the most important. The job requires very good knowledge of Swedish.

About the position

• Work corresponding to about 10% distributed over even weekends during the day (and the possibility of more by working extra shifts)
• Start date according to agreement.
• Individual salary setting according to the Fremia personal assistance collective agreement.

To be employed, you must present a valid ID, an extract from the police register, and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden.

Since I am a child, you must have an extract from the police register, which can be ordered at www.polisen.se (http://www.polisen.se).

You will be employed by Assistans i Balans i Sverige AB, which means you will receive close and personal guidance, supervision, and a good introduction. Assistans i Balans also offers a variety of training within the profession, giving you the opportunity to develop.
