We are looking for a personal assistant for a 20-year-old boy with autism and Down syndrome who lives with his parents in Sundbyberg.

To ensure he feels safe, communication is important. We see that you are clear in your way of communicating and responsive to his signals and needs in various situations that arise.

We are looking for an assistant who is humble, responsible, and positive. We would like you to be proactive. We want you to have experience and genuinely enjoy working with young people. Furthermore, we expect you to be attentive to the user's needs, be resourceful, punctual, and have good judgment.

Necessary training and onboarding will take place at the workplace. Since the boy is in great need of communication training, it is important that you are fluent in Swedish. Previous work as a personal assistant and experience working with children and young people is important, but we also place great emphasis on personal suitability and the right chemistry. It is an advantage if you have experience working with individuals with autism and challenging behaviors.

To help you fit into the boy and his family's life, it is important that you are flexible, as travel occurs both outside of Stockholm and abroad.
