Haninge municipality is at the forefront.

In 2023, we were one of the first municipalities to establish first and second-line social services, a step in our adaptation for the future of social services and the new Social Services Act. In the operation, we meet children who need coordinated and extensive efforts preceded by applications and investigations – assistance decisions. In our work, we focus on our target groups, investigating and coordinating efforts based on evidence and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other community actors.

The Unit

The unit is part of the Child Area, which consists of units within investigation, foster care/contact activities, family treatment/parent support, and open care. The unit is led by one unit manager and consists of one senior social worker and eight social workers. The unit also has an administrative assistant attached to it.

We who work here are knowledgeable and engaged in our work and care for each other, ensuring a good atmosphere in the groups. We want our work to be characterized by consensus, quality, and legal certainty, and we believe it is important to develop in our work.

As our senior social worker has chosen to move on to new challenges after several years in the municipality, we are now looking for a new senior social worker who wants to be challenged and be part of our exciting development.

Your Mission

As a senior social worker, you will support social workers in case management and daily work with children aged 0-17 and their families. You will also investigate more complex cases and be responsible for the introduction of new colleagues.

What we are looking for in you

• Degree in Social Work
• Extensive experience in social services' authority work in the area of children and youth.
• Familiar with case management according to both SOL and LVU. Able to work independently based on both legal frameworks and teach less experienced caseworkers.
• Correct Swedish in speech and writing
• Knowledge of BBIC, Knowledge of Signs of Safety

Meritorious

• Knowledge of Irisk, Savery, Earl, ADAD
• Experience leading groups without being a manager
• Experience supporting and mentoring in cases
• Driver's license is desirable

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who can see the opportunities in complex social work, has a knack for collaboration, is flexible, curious, and has the best interests of children in mind. It is essential that you are responsible, have integrity, and value quality.

As a senior social worker, it is especially important to have an interest in monitoring the external environment and a drive to develop and improve the operation. You are motivated by helping others grow, have good pedagogical skills, and a coaching approach.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
