I am an active 21-year-old guy living just outside Strängnäs with my family.

I am now looking for a personal assistant who can work extra as needed. Since you will be working in my home, it is important that you get along with my family as well as with me.

I enjoy being at home and spending time with my family. If the weather is nice, I like to go for walks, cycle, play football, or help out with work in the garden. I love to grow plants and take care of the garden. On warm summer days, I am the first one to jump into the pool and I enjoy having ice cream afterward. I really like to dance and do it as often as I can, but I also want to just relax sometimes and watch a good movie.

Since public transport does not fit your working hours, you must have a driver's license and access to your own car. You who are applying for the position should be cheerful, patient, reliable, and responsible. Because I have a condition with my trachea that causes me to stop breathing, you must constantly monitor me as my assistant. Additionally, I have Down syndrome with a constricted esophagus, which makes me prone to choking. So yes, I require your attention all the time.

I use a lot of sign support in my communication, so it is a plus if you have experience with that, and it is also important that you speak very clear Swedish. If you have knowledge of medical technical equipment and have a nursing assistant education, that is an advantage. If you know sign language, that is also a plus!

If we get along, you will be employed by Assistans i Balans, which means you will receive thorough training, have a skilled, experienced, and clear supervisor, and there will be opportunities for guidance as well as further training.
