Assistance for an Active Teenager

Hello!

I am a positive, active, and cheerful 18-year-old teenager who enjoys being outdoors and finding new adventures when I'm not in school. This could be hanging out at skate parks, watching cars, or just taking a walk. As my assistant, you should be creative and confident in yourself. You will accompany me to school, my activities, and hobbies, but you should also be comfortable relaxing at home and listening to/playing music or watching YouTube with me.

For my daily life to function, I need your assistance with all my daily tasks, mobility, personal hygiene, and communication. I mostly move with a wheelchair and walker. I am good at showing and communicating with my body, but I also use PCS pictures and a little Tobii.

It takes time for both of us to get to know each other and find a good way to cooperate. Therefore, you should see this as a long-term job. When I have continuity in my life, I feel my best, and we both have the opportunity to grow. Since I ride once a week, it is important that you are not allergic to horses.

About the Position:

You who are applying for this position are between 25 and 40 years old and want to work about 35 hours a week. It is a rolling schedule over four weeks with varying working hours during the day, evening/night, and weekends. I need some support even during the night, so it is important for you applying for this position to be able to work awake nights. I would like you to start quite soon.

You will be employed by Assistans i Balans i Sverige AB, which means you will receive close and personal supervision, guidance, and a good introduction. Assistans i Balans also offers a variety of training within the profession, giving you the opportunity to develop.

Salary: Individual salary setting. Agreement Fremia-Kommunal.
