I turn 28 this year and live in Annedal in Bromma, on the border of Sundbyberg. You can quickly and easily reach Annedal by public transport or by bike/walking if you live in Sumpan, Solna, or Bromma. As a person, I am humorous, social, and really enjoy watching movies.

I work at a Day Activity during the day, and of course, you will join me. On weekends, I usually find fun activities to do with my brother, who also has assistance, or sometimes with a friend. For example, we often go to the swimming pool.

In order for me to be able to go to my activities, I need you to have drive and good planning skills. You will also assist me with various daily tasks such as washing, dishwashing, cleaning, shopping, showering, dressing and undressing, communication, and everything else that is part of most people's daily lives.

It is very important that you feel comfortable with the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You will help me communicate in different situations, such as during medical visits or when I need to try out a new assistive device at the assistive technology center. Not least so that you can understand your work and perform it well and safely.

The work involves both single and double assistance, where collaboration is important both with me and my other assistants.

Note! No pet allergies, as my brother and I have a cat, and my parents have dogs that often visit us. It’s definitely a plus if you like our animals (who are very nice).

It’s a big plus if you have experience or knowledge in AAC.

You will receive a thorough introduction, continuous guidance, and further training from Assistans i Balans, who will be your employer.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE POSITION

Two positions are available; either you will primarily work daytime from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and evening shifts from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM, or you prefer to work awake nights and some evenings. Shifts are scheduled throughout the week, and weekend shifts are usually a bit longer. Staffing responsibilities may occur. You should be open to stepping in when a colleague is sick or wants to take time off.

We believe that the best fit for these positions is someone who is 25 years or older.
