Do you want to help create a new type of financial market that makes it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises to grow? At Invoier, we are developing a digital marketplace – a kind of exchange for invoices – where companies can sell their invoices directly to investors. This provides faster, more transparent, and fair financing - in an industry that has long operated under outdated terms.

We are a fintech company in the early growth phase, supported by the European Investment Bank among others. With offices in Stenbeckshuset in central Stockholm, we are building a modern serverless platform and are now looking for a Lead Software Engineer who wants to take technical ownership, further develop the architecture, and help scale the platform in line with our international expansion.

In this role, you will take a comprehensive approach to both technology and direction. You will:

• Lead technical projects related to expansion – such as support for multiple currencies, regulatory requirements, and streamlining invoice flows.
• Help shape our architecture, codebase, and DevOps practices
• Collaborate closely with the CTO, business, and operations to identify problems and drive solutions

This is a role with significant influence where you will shape how we build, deliver, and scale our product.

We build our solution in the cloud and use, among other things:

• Python
• TypeScript
• AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, CloudFormation)
• Infrastructure as code and event-driven architecture.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with – or curious about – the above technologies and wants to help build the next generation of financial platforms.

You have a strong technical foundation, have led development work before, and are looking for a role where you can build, influence, and take responsibility. Furthermore, we believe you have:

• At least 5 years of experience as a backend or full-stack developer, with at least 1–2 years in a technically leading role
• Experience with cloud-based architecture – preferably with AWS and serverless
• Experience working cross-functionally, closely with both product teams and business
• Experience in environments where not everything is yet defined and where you have contributed to structure, workflows, or architectural choices.

Previous experience in fintech, marketplaces, or startups is a plus – but not a requirement.
