About the role

As a District Sales Representative at DeLaval, you will work independently and responsibly in a broad role with sales in the Skåne district. Here you will act as a support for your customers regarding the design of facilities and systems for farmers. You are solution-oriented and persistent in the sales process where you coordinate and project manage the work for builders, authorities, and advisory bodies.

Your profile

This is the role for you who has a genuine interest in and knowledge of Swedish agriculture and who is passionate about sales and consulting. You have gained knowledge and a good understanding of agriculture through work experience, studies, or perhaps from having grown up on or run a farm yourself. You are communicative and fearless in customer meetings. You have a sense of order and enjoy creating long-term relationships and are persistent during the sales process.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a few years of work experience in sales or consulting, preferably within the agricultural sector.

Your first time at DeLaval will include comprehensive basic training at Hamragård in Tumba, joint trips with experienced colleagues, and continuous further education, including training in CAD.

Requirements

• Completed upper secondary education
• Good knowledge of or previous experience in Swedish agriculture
• Work experience in sales or other relevant experience for the position
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B

Meritorious

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field for the position, such as agronomy or farm management
• Sales/consulting experience in agriculture, animal husbandry, or similar
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of CAD
