Miljögården is an interior design store in Lund, owned and operated by the Blomsterberg family since 1984. The Blomsterberg family's dream and vision is to create the complete interior store. Miljögården is located in the easily accessible Nova area with a generous exhibition space of 4000 sqm. In 2003, the doors opened to the new building. We have partnered with the most interesting designers and manufacturers. Today, we operate both a physical store and an online shop where we see great development potential.
We offer you a stimulating and varied job where you will be part of a positive team. We believe in collaboration, sharing ideas with each other, and having fun together every day! You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and not be afraid to tackle tasks as they arise. The workplace has an open climate that makes it easy to thrive.
The Position
We are now looking for someone with a passionate interest in people and a broad knowledge and experience of furniture, lighting, and interior design. We are seeking a driven store manager who wants to be part of an engaged team that loves helping our customers find the right decor for every room.
As the store manager at Miljögården, you have a humble attitude but can also firmly manage the daily operations and make decisions both big and small.
Responsibilities of the Store Manager and Order Management
- Be available for questions from colleagues during daily operations. Be helpful and supportive in matters related to customer service. Your leadership will guide the team towards new sales goals and ensure that our customers receive the best service and the best products for their needs.
- Be responsible for planning and designing campaigns in an appealing way to increase sales.
- Establish good contact with our suppliers and, to some extent, work together with the owners and colleagues regarding purchases. We attend several fairs and visit showrooms/factories.
- Responsible for personnel and assisting in recruitment processes. Ensure that the store, warehouse, and online are staffed and work with scheduling issues. Train new employees and develop the current ones in your team.
- Work towards a good work environment and develop our work environment efforts.
- Comfortable working operationally and feel confident with customers in sales situations. You are present on the floor and serve as a role model in daily work.
- Process customer orders primarily for furniture and make purchases for the warehouse.
- The order service requires you to have a structured work style, the ability to work independently, and be responsible for solving any problems that arise during the order process, as well as continuously improving routines and processes to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- You have knowledge and a strong interest in furniture and design.
- Experience leading a team in retail.
- Fluent in Swedish and English and can express yourself very well in writing.
- You should be communicative, meticulous, creative, outgoing, and proactive.
- You work systematically and efficiently.
- As a person, you are positive, structured, and organized.
- It is an advantage if you have previous knowledge of Visma business systems or similar, focusing on articles, stock balance, and orders.

The position is a 100% permanent employment with a 6-month probation period.
The position is a combined role: Store Manager 50% and Order Management 50%.
