About the Role

Sydhamnens Trailerservice AB (STS) is seeking an engaged Truck Mechanic who wants to join their team. You will work with service and repair of vehicles, including brake jobs, welding jobs, and other mechanical tasks. Sometimes it may also involve constructing and manufacturing specific parts yourself based on repair needs.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and manage work orders.
• Perform service and repair of vehicles and trailers.
• Conduct field service for customers as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair heavy vehicles.
• Maintenance and service of vehicle electronics and mechanics.
• Documentation of completed work and reporting to the supervisor.

We are looking for someone with:

• 2-3 years of experience as a truck mechanic or equivalent role
• Training or experience in welding
• Class B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

Preferred Qualifications:

• Class CE driver's license
• Experience in electrical work
