We are looking for someone who is strongly business-driven, wants to work with QA/RA in medical technology, and wants to help build a business focused on the medical technology industry.

This will be your roleAs a business development consultant in medical technology, you will be responsible for developing and expanding the business for QA/RA in medical technology. You will do this in several ways. You will seek out and create new customer relationships, you will create and close deals that align with the established goals, you will participate in delivering projects that you have partly sold in yourself, you will assist in recruiting consultants focused on QA/RA in medical technology, and you will drive business development in your area.

In addition to this, you will be part of a larger business unit focused on medical technology, where you will be able to leverage networks, knowledge, and resources.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop processes and working methods as well as be responsible for and develop our customer relationships. This means identifying customer needs and matching them with our skilled consultants. You will have your own sales responsibility where you take ownership of the offering, delivery, and the entire business, and you will naturally use your network in medical technology to create business.

As a business development consultant with us, you will also have the opportunity to work with clients and support them throughout their product lifecycle and across their organization. The location for the position is at our office in Lund.

This is how you will shineYou have a business drive and are a communicative person who is passionate about quality and regulations. To thrive as a business development consultant with us, we believe you are positive and social with high engagement.

You are particularly passionate about finding the most effective ways to help our clients find solutions to problems they didn't think existed. Identifying business opportunities and taking initiative comes naturally to you. Creating and maintaining good relationships is something you value and understand the importance of.To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Good industry knowledge in medical technology (especially in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs throughout a product's entire lifecycle).
  • At least 7 years of documented work experience in either sales, delivery, and/or project management.
  • At least 5 years of documented work experience as QA or RA in medical technology.
  • You have worked with MDD/MDR, IVDD/IVDR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 or 21 CFR Part 820, FDA applications, and MDSAP.
  • Experience in customer work with a focus on proactively creating business opportunities and increasing upselling.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

If you also have this, you will shine even more:

  • Education in leadership and/or project management.
  • Previous leadership experience that includes managing in a leading position with result responsibility.
  • Experience in all or parts of the recruitment process.
  • Previous experience of having own negotiation responsibility.
  • Experience from the consulting industry.
  • Worked in CRM systems.
