About the Position

We are now looking for a specialist physician in neurology.

Currently, we have 3 resident physicians and 8 specialists in neurology in the department. Here, you will meet a competent and driven medical team that runs a broad neurological practice. In addition to inpatient and outpatient care in neurology and stroke care, continuing education and quality development are important parts of your work.

About Us

The area of neurology, rehabilitation, and close care includes, among other things: neuro and stroke wards, neurology outpatient clinic and day care, rehabilitation medicine care, close elderly care ward, day care, rheumatology, PRIS team, occupational therapy rehab, care planning unit, central occupational therapy and physiotherapy, as well as the function of assistive technology coordinator, unit for dietitian and social worker, unit for speech therapist, psychologist, orthopedic technology, physiotherapy rehab, as well as local healthcare teams and respiratory resource teams.

The main focus of the operation is neurology and stroke care. The neurology section includes a neurology outpatient clinic, consultation services, and day care, a neuro and stroke ward with 8 beds for neurology and 12 beds for stroke. We also have an ALS team, a Parkinson's team, a brain tumor team, and an epilepsy team.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a Swedish medical license and specialist certification in neurology. You will be part of a driven medical team that jointly staffs and develops the above-mentioned operations within neurology and stroke care. You must master the Swedish language at least at level C1. There are great opportunities for an independent area of responsibility. Personal suitability will be given great importance.
