In the role of Production Engineer at AP&T, you will work on exciting production engineering projects for interesting global customers. You are a key player in the organization and in the projects you drive together with competent colleagues. You will work cross-functionally between departments and focus on improving the organization's processes.

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for creating and updating production documentation such as work instructions and drawings.
• Develop and optimize the production process to enable high efficiency.
• Improve internal material flows.
• Ensure that the process meets customer requirements and internal quality standards.
• Act as a bridge between production, projects, and the engineering department on technical issues.
• Drive improvement work in line with lean principles.
• Actively follow industry developments and contribute to the implementation of new methods and technologies. Work proactively and in line with the company's strategy to ensure the competitiveness of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain work instructions and drawings.
• Analyze production disruptions and recommend actions.
• Implement tools for continuous improvements.
• Map risk areas in our processes.

Your profile

As a production engineer at AP&T, analytical problem-solving skills, structure, accuracy, and technical interest are required. Good collaboration skills and initiative are crucial for managing the organization's challenges and contributing to the company's long-term goals. You are skilled in your communication style and have the ability to persuade. To succeed in the role, you need to work relationship-building and with a holistic perspective.

Requirements

• Education: Engineering degree in production technology, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in similar work, preferably in project-based manufacturing.

Competencies

• Experience working with CAD
• Good understanding of manufacturing methods, such as turning, milling, welding, and assembly.
• Good knowledge of interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of lean methodology and experience in its application.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
