Mortuary Vehicle Driver/Assistant

The work is Monday - Friday shift work with day/evening/night shifts.

As a mortuary vehicle driver/assistant, you and your colleague will be responsible for transporting deceased individuals. In your role, you will actively participate in planning, execution, and accountability for the tasks at hand according to the routines and directives from the company's management.

Politivagn Stockholm is a mortuary vehicle company that performs transports of deceased individuals on behalf of police authorities and municipalities. The working hours consist of shift work and are based at the company's location in Fruängen's center. Job Responsibilities:

The job involves staffing a mortuary vehicle in teams of two and alternating between driver and assistant. The work requires good cooperation with employees from the police authority, the National Board of Forensic Medicine, municipal residences, and other external residences.

As an assistant, you will be responsible for receiving phone orders and establishing driving orders.

The team is also responsible for vehicle maintenance, the shared premises, and handling work and consumable materials during the shift. The work involves a certain degree of freedom under responsibility.

Qualifications: Preferably a C license.

Requirements:

. CV

. Secondary education of 2 years or equivalent

. Driving license B

. Good driving experience

. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

. Stable psyche and good physical ability as the work may involve heavy lifting

Meritorious:

. Experience driving light trucks or equivalent

. Good local knowledge of Stockholm County

. Experience in transport, passenger transport, or mortuary vehicle industry

. Experience in healthcare or service professions

Employment Conditions:

We apply individual salary setting in accordance with Kommunal's guidelines. Depending on the degree of employment, a fixed monthly salary or hourly wage is applied. A criminal record check will be conducted before employment in accordance with police authority requirements.

Working Hours:

We are currently seeking full-time staff who can work 5 days/week, Monday to Friday.

The working hours may vary between days and nights in different weeks.

Other:

Our workgroup is smoke-free. The work is uniformed, and the company provides uniforms.
