Are you interested in contributing to an inviting, safe, and professional customer experience? We are now looking for a customer service specialist who ensures that both Bilprovningen and SMP achieve high customer satisfaction and promote customer loyalty in a cost-effective manner.

Bilprovningen, with over 100 stations from Skurup in the south to Gällivare in the north, is Sweden's leading player in the inspection of motor vehicles and has worked for increased traffic safety and reduced climate impact since the company was founded in 1963. In June 2023, Bilprovningen acquired SMP Svensk Maskinprovning AB, and Bilprovningen along with its subsidiaries was recently acquired by the German TÜV Rheinland. About the positionIn the role of customer service specialist, you will handle incoming customer inquiries to Bilprovningen and SMP through our selected service channels, both verbally and in writing. You will also provide support to our operational organizations regarding inspection and booking issues. You will actively contribute to improvement work concerning routines and processes and have a wide network across the company.

In your daily work, you will:

  • Handle customer inquiries from private and corporate customers via phone, email, and internal systems. You will also be part of Backoffice for more complex cases regarding customer complaints and compensation matters.
  • Contribute to quality-assured materials such as FAQs, forwarding customer feedback within the company, and participating in subsequent improvement work.
  • Administer customer data in the loyalty platforms Mina sidor and Besiktning Online. Actively manage the companies' customer registers.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for service and problem-solving.
  • Is a team player with a strong desire to help.
  • Has a good ability to understand customer needs and experience in customer service and administrative service roles.
  • Has experience handling complex cases, customer complaints, and compensation matters.
  • Has experience with business and booking systems, CRM, and email. Is curious about AI and wants to actively contribute to a modern and efficient working method.
  • Is meticulous and a good communicator in both spoken and written Swedish.
  • If you also have experience and a strong interest in the automotive industry and/or a background as an inspector or vehicle technician, that is a plus.

To thrive in the role of customer service specialist, you are good at building relationships and collaborating with others. You are confident and clear in your communication and handle the problems that arise in everyday work in a professional manner, and are motivated to solve them. Ideally, you have both experience and a strong interest in the automotive industry and are used to working in a structured way to drive and develop the business forward.

Start: January 2025Location: Stockholm, Rissne (hybrid work partially possible, about 2 days/week after training is completed)Working hours: 07:00-16:00 or 08:00-17:00, some flexibilityExtent: Full-timeEmployment form: Permanent employment (6 months probationary period applies)
