The Hantverkaren group home is located in the scenic Åkersberga, about 40 minutes from central Stockholm to the north. The group home is situated in a terraced housing area with the forest as its nearest neighbor. The accommodation is on one level and has 6 associated apartments, each with its own outdoor area. Spacious common areas indoors and a beautiful outdoor area with opportunities for gardening and pleasant meetings between residents and staff.

Job Description

You will work in a combined role as a housing supporter and group leader. You are responsible for providing individually tailored support to the residents in all aspects of daily life together with your colleagues, thereby strengthening the resident's abilities and motivating them to achieve independence based on each individual's circumstances. You will plan and carry out activities with the residents. You will perform delegated health and medical care tasks. You will contribute and work to create a good and attractive environment for everyone, both colleagues and residents. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for daily planning, lead and distribute work in everyday life, and have overall responsibility for the team's planning and staffing.
  • Provide support and guidance to care staff in their daily work, solve problems that arise, and ensure that work routines and guidelines are followed.
  • Analyze operational needs and contribute to developing the workplace and follow up on quality.
  • Administration regarding scheduling and leave applications.
  • Quality assure contact and follow-up with clients and relatives.
  • Actively work with sick leave. Have continuous conversations with employees and collaborate with those involved, acting as a link in the process between the operations manager and employees. Collaborate and carry out any rehabilitation measures together with the operations manager.
  • Analyze and act on personnel matters that arise together with the operations manager.
  • Participate in recruitment processes in the organization together with the operations manager and be responsible for the introduction of new employees.

About the Employment

The position is a permanent employment at 100%. Work takes place during daytime, evening, and night shifts on weekdays and weekends. Salary is according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements. Start date is according to agreement.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have:

  • Education as a nursing assistant, special educator, or behavioral scientist or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • Knowledge in low-arousal approaches, clear pedagogical methods, alternative and augmentative communication
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing as documentation is a large part of the work

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience from similar operations and scheduling
  • Experience in leadership

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden.
