Hagagården's care and nursing home is beautifully located close to nature in Vendelsö.

Hagagården has four departments with somatic orientation and six for people with dementia. One of these departments has short-term places for people with dementia. We actively work with activities and aim to provide as wide a range as possible. Examples of activities include gymnastics, musical entertainment, and joint activities with school children. Hagagården has a large assembly hall used for activities and celebrations. We also have the restaurant Vårt kök, which delivers all meals to other municipal homes and a smaller lunch restaurant.

Your mission

We are now looking for someone who wants new challenges and shares our view that activities are part of the elderly's daily life! Your tasks will include working with the resident in focus together with other professionals. It is important for us that the individual's needs are at the center, and this permeates our working method. You motivate and support residents to maintain and develop their abilities, as well as guide staff in rehabilitative efforts. You work closely with nursing staff and initiate and support them in offering an active daily life for the elderly. We work according to Silviahemmet's care philosophy, which is based on the four cornerstones of symptom control, family support, teamwork, and communication. The mission also includes regular tasks such as prescribing assistive devices and rehabilitation after injury.

You will be part of a team with nursing staff, group manager, nurse, and occupational therapist. At Hagagården, your closest colleagues will be two occupational therapists. As a physiotherapist, you can largely control how you structure your workday and contribute to developing the operations.

Your work will be located at Hagagården's care and nursing homes in Vendelsö. You will work with departments for residents with cognitive diseases, short-term care, and departments with somatic orientation.

What we are looking for in you

• You are a licensed physiotherapist, secure in your professional role, and preferably have previous experience in elderly care
• Documented specialist competence in elderly care, dementia, or palliative care is an advantage
• You enjoy working in a team and are positive towards change and development work
• You are proactive, flexible, and see opportunities rather than obstacles
• You have excellent communication skills, both in meetings with people and in writing
• You have digital competence and an interest in implementing new solutions

As a person, you have a commitment to working with the elderly and understand the importance of having good cooperation with colleagues. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues. You are responsible, self-driven, and can adapt your working method to the situation.

What we can offer you

As a physiotherapist with us, you will work with experienced colleagues from various professions. You will collaborate with other colleagues in the municipality within the same profession through profession-specific meetings. Your immediate supervisor is a physiotherapist. We offer training and further development in relevant areas for the assignment. Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday during the day, with holidays off on public holidays and bridge days.
