About Sabbatsbergsbyn

Sabbatsbergsbyn is a special accommodation with 106 apartments distributed across 11 departments in three buildings. Nine departments are for those with a diagnosed dementia disease, and two departments are for those who, for physical reasons, need care and support around the clock. Sabbatsbergsbyn is located in the inner city of Stockholm between S:t Eriksplan and Odenplan. It is a central nursing home in Vasastan with green areas around the corner. In the Garden of the Senses, we meet for barbecues, gymnastics, entertainment, and coffee. We are looking for you as a nurse who wants to help drive high-quality care and support focused on our residents!

Your Role

You have a role as a care-responsible nurse (OAS) where you have the overall responsibility for ensuring that health and medical care is performed with maintained quality and patient safety. The focus of health and medical care should be health-promoting and person-centered, with a cross-professional and process-oriented approach. You will lead and distribute nursing work in the department for which you are responsible. This involves close collaboration with staff, rehabilitation managers, the operations manager, and the MAS (Medically Responsible Nurse).

In addition to the daily work in the department, the care-responsible nurse (OAS) is responsible for the cross-professional team meetings that occur regularly. These meetings provide space for deepening knowledge and exchanging experiences between professions. There is also a collaboration plan for the nursing group with joint meetings for the distribution of responsibilities and follow-up of routines. Every week, a round is conducted together with a doctor where you prepare and prioritize cases within your department. All licensed staff are part of the HSE group, which collaborates continuously under the leadership of the unit manager.

Your Competence and Experience

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have experience working in elderly care and are accustomed to leading meetings.

We seek someone skilled in your professional role and who enjoys meeting people in various situations. We see that you have clarity in the guidance role for care, are a role model, and convey joy and energy. You are meticulous in your work and have good collaboration skills as you work closely with others in the organization. You take personal responsibility and work with care in everything you do. You also have the ability to be flexible and prioritize when circumstances change.
