One of our psychologists will be on parental leave, and we are now looking for someone who wants to work with psychiatric diagnostics at a modern clinic with high ambitions!

With us, you will work with psychiatric diagnostics according to a model initiated by experts at Psychiatry Sydväst, which continues to be developed in collaboration with common principles within SLSO.

As an investigator with us, you are encouraged to contribute to this development. The investigations are conducted by doctors and psychologists who work multidisciplinary in cohesive investigations of all common issues, including neuropsychiatry and personality problems.

The investigation unit is Psychiatry Sydväst's portal for referrals. Patients come here for investigations of a wide range of psychiatric issues. After investigation and diagnosis, the patient is planned further within the care process and reception that best meets the patient's needs. We who work here are doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and medical secretaries. The work environment is creative, and everyone contributes to the ongoing development and improvement work. The clinic is characterized by an innovative culture where all employees, regardless of professional role, are encouraged to come up with suggestions and creative solutions to realize good ideas and develop care for patients and staff.

You will have access to supervision/consultation from an experienced psychologist colleague. There is also the possibility of external supervision.

The workplace is located in Flemingsberg's center, opposite Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge, in premises with a fantastic view.

Responsibilities

You will conduct broad psychiatric investigations as a basis for continued care planning. Your tasks primarily include neuropsychiatric investigation work with issues such as ADHD/ADD, autism spectrum disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Additionally, you will participate in internal meetings and contribute to development work.

Employment Type

Temporary position, full-time, from April 2025 for one year.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus. Clinical experience in neuropsychiatric investigation work and work in psychiatry is meritorious. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone with experience in neuropsychiatric investigation work. You have knowledge of ADHD, Autism, and Intellectual Disabilities and differential diagnostics. You enjoy working in a structured manner and being part of continuous development and improvement work. You are used to working independently but enjoy working in a team with other professionals who are specialists in their fields. You have a good ability to independently plan and execute your work, both the patient-related work and the administrative tasks. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
