Personal Assistant for Intellectually Gifted Artist in Central Stockholm

The user is an intellectually gifted, active, and culturally interested woman living in central Stockholm. She uses an electric wheelchair that she controls herself but needs help with manual transfers, training, and assistance with practical tasks in her daily life. She plans and manages her life independently, so as an assistant, you mostly act as her arms and legs. She can speak for herself but gets very tired of giving too many instructions, so it is appreciated if you quickly become self-reliant in her daily routines.

The working hours are approximately from 8:00 - 13:00 + 13:00 - 19:00 on weekdays and 08:30 - 16:00 on weekends. It is advantageous if you are flexible and can also fill in for shorter or longer shifts as needed.

During the warmer months, the user is at her country house on Kungshatt, an island in Lake Mälaren. During that period, the working hours are adjusted according to the boat schedules. There is an opportunity to work more during this time as regular staff are on vacation.

You should be fluent in Swedish in speech and writing, calm and warm in your interactions with people, attentive to when to stay in the background or be more social. You should be used to working independently, have a strong work ethic, be flexible, adaptable, physically strong, and preferably have experience with manual transfers. It is also advantageous if you have a driver's license (Automatic) and experience driving in city traffic.
