Your future employer
Varbergs Trä is a local family business engaged in building material trade in Varberg & Falkenberg, as well as nationwide e-commerce via VillaFönster. Sales are approximately 80% to professional customers and companies, and 20% to private individuals. We have a turnover of 260 million SEK in the company, and in total, across all 3 facilities, we are about 70 people.
Varbergs Trä AB is part of a group with a turnover of approximately 1,000 million SEK, involved in production for construction, industry, and trade: Varberg Timber, Sunnerbo Fönster, Bröderna Johanssons Träförädling & GFAB Sweden.
Varbergs Trä AB has in recent years invested in a modern newly built store and warehouse in Varberg. At the same time, we are focusing on developing our e-commerce section for Varberg & Falkenberg.

What does the role offer?
In the role of sales representative at Varbergs Trä, you will be offered a varied everyday life in a stable company that has been around for 75 years. You build relationships and provide first-class service to our customers. In the role, you work with existing and new customers alongside lovely colleagues.
You will strategically work on the market with the goal of creating satisfied and long-term customer relationships through tasks such as:
- Selling building materials
- Consultation
- Order reception
- Writing quotations
- Related administration
You will mainly work on weekdays, every other week from 7 am to 4 pm and every other week from 8 am to 5 pm. You will also work every third Saturday from 9 am to 12 pm. You will be based in our premises in Varberg.
Who are you?
To succeed as a sales representative with us, you enjoy a family atmosphere, value good camaraderie, have a down-to-earth approach, and find it easy to make new contacts. You appreciate good structure and have an eye for detail while also:
- Handling Swedish fluently in speech and writing with knowledge of English.
- Having a driver's license
- Good data and system skills
We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability, but we find it advantageous if you have experience in sales beforehand, or have worked in the construction industry as a salesperson, carpenter, or supervisor, but it is not a requirement. Furthermore, we also believe that you are an open, social, and curious person with a strong drive who thrives in an organization with short decision-making processes and a clear forward drive.
