You will find us in the heart of Falkenberg, Hermans Restaurant & Entertainment, and we have chosen to deliver food experiences where the local and Halland traditions enrich our menus!

Our goal is to dare to try new things while also valuing a certain traditional line where safety is ensured for all our regular guests. We are open 7 nights a week all year round, and summer is naturally our peak season! With our location right on Rådhustorget, we can easily expand our outdoor seating in the summer and we often use our square for various events. Falkenberg is a fantastic city with many events and activities all year round, which greatly benefits our influx of guests. We have good collaborations with several external organizers while also hosting our own events ranging from troubadour entertainment to larger concerts.

Now we are looking for a responsible chef with experience in restaurant kitchens who has the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues and, together with the head chef and team, deliver well-prepared dishes.

We have a fantastic staff and we place great importance on ensuring that our team chemistry is top-notch, constantly working to enhance it with staff-promoting activities.

You should...

• ... have documented experience in à la carte kitchens.
• ... be able to give and receive feedback to/from colleagues in the kitchen and other restaurant staff.
• ... be able to read, write, speak, and understand the Swedish language without any issues.
• ... understand the importance of following the recipes and routines that we have established.
• ... have the ability to work at a fast pace, closely with colleagues.

We focus heavily on local Halland ingredients, which has elevated our kitchen, and we have a strong foundation to build on. Our guests love what we deliver, and now we are raising the bar even higher, aiming to become even stronger in our role as one of Falkenberg's best restaurants!

Our restaurant, with approximately 120 indoor seats, is located in the city center on Rådhustorget. We have an outdoor seating area under a canopy with around 80 seats, a lounge area with space for about 40-50 guests, and an additional 80 seats in our café section. We complement our strong suit, food and service quality, with entertainment such as quiz nights, troubadours, dancing, concerts, and more.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking and keeping up with trends! We are not afraid to try new things while also cherishing tradition. Our motto is "We are proud Falkenberg locals who let flavors from our surroundings enrich our menus"!

The position is to be filled as soon as possible as an hourly employment that transitions into a seasonal position over the summer.
