When you leave the land and step on board

You are met by a workplace filled with activity, collaboration, and a sea of opportunities alongside colleagues and our guests. As a Service Host, you may work in various areas such as hotel, restaurant, and shop - all equally important for providing our guests with the very best travel experience!

Hotel

If you work with our hotel, you ensure that our guests receive the utmost comfort and sleep. You do this by cleaning and welcoming guests! We have many cabins and large areas on board that you clean and prepare before each departure, which means you should be able to work meticulously yet efficiently.

Restaurant

In our various restaurants, cafés, and bars, you work with table service, dishwashing, and clearing tables. You work at a fast pace while assisting our guests!

Shop

Here, you sell our popular products including beauty, candy, and beverages. You ensure that the shop is well-stocked and tidy while contributing tips and knowledge to our guests.

What we offer

Safety always comes first on board, and you are an important part of our safety work. Before starting with us, we ensure that you receive thorough training in safety, service, and much more - all so that together we can experience a fantastic adventure on board! Training starts in February 2025.

Who are you?

You show commitment to our guests' needs to build trust.

Your must-haves:

  • Work experience in cleaning, hotels, restaurants, and/or shops
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Good swimming skills
  • Over 18 years old
  • Valid passport or national ID card

Preferred:

  • Education from hotel, tourism, or restaurant school
  • Additional language skills

Good to know

  • Our Swedish-flagged vessels depart from Gothenburg, Halmstad, and Trelleborg, and you should be able to start from any of these ports.
  • You are expected to work in all different areas as a Service Host.
  • The work involves varying hours throughout the day.
  • If you proceed in the process and are offered employment with us, you will undergo a medical examination and drug test in accordance with our alcohol and drug policy.

Interested?

The position is a seasonal employment starting by agreement but no later than week 24. We expect you to be able and willing to work full-time during the summer of 2025. Selection and interviews will be ongoing. The deadline for applications is March 31. We have a collective agreement with SEKO.
