Hotel Havanna has become a popular destination in Varberg since its opening in 2013, offering 40 hotel rooms, a spa, a cigar lounge, a rum cellar, and a well-visited restaurant for up to 120 guests. Our theme is Cuban, but the food we serve is mainly Swedish. We cater to both hotel guests, locals, and visitors passing by or specifically coming to see us. We serve breakfast, lunch, and à la carte seven days a week all year round (with a few exceptions), and during December, we also offer a popular Christmas buffet. About the Position

We are looking for a skilled sous-chef for a position of responsibility in our evening kitchen. The position is full-time and permanent, with immediate start.

You will be involved in creating new creative dishes when changing the menu, while also being responsible for maintaining the good reputation our kitchen has built over the years. We take our food very seriously, and it is a given for us that every plate leaving the kitchen meets the same high standard.

We are looking for someone who wears their chef's apron with pride but can also work without ego in a team. At our place, you will find a stable work environment with pleasant colleagues of various ages. Your employment is secured by our affiliation with Visita and collective agreements with HRF and Unionen.

You should have a chef education and professional experience, preferably in a similar responsible position. As a chef with us, you need to be driven and fairly stress-resistant as we sometimes have high pressure in the kitchen. You also need to be well-versed in hygiene and food safety, as well as have a sense of order.
