Vårdcentralen Laröd is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with 6,800 listed patients and 300 listed children at the associated child health center (BVC). We have recently opened a branch with a focus on health promotion, prevention, and early interventions. The branch is located in an adjacent area and here we offer reception to psychologists, physiotherapists, dietitians, as well as the child health center. In the near future, we will expand with a doctor's reception at the branch.

At our center, about 35 dedicated employees work in various professional categories in interdisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care to our patients. The team consists of specialist doctors, resident doctors, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and secretaries. We offer child health center (BVC), doctor's reception, district nurse reception, specialist nurse reception for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, infections, lifestyle habits, vaccinations, memory reception, elderly care reception, as well as reception for occupational therapist, dietitian, physiotherapist, and psychologist.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an ST doctor, you will follow your ST plan, and we offer a supportive educational climate with continuous supervision on your path to specialist doctor competence. During the first year, you will work at the healthcare center, and in the following four years, you will alternate between training at specialist receptions and work at the healthcare center. You will have your own patient list for which you are responsible. In addition to doctor's reception at the healthcare center, you will work with nursing homes, home visits, and on-call work at the evening and weekend receptions, as well as the child health center.

As a new employee, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experiences. We assume that everyone has an individual learning process and consider it natural that you should receive support from colleagues to feel secure in your new role. In addition to mandatory ST courses, you will be offered good development opportunities with continuous further education, both internally and externally, based on interest and the needs of the business. We expect you to be involved and proactive in improvement work and business development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed doctor with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. To be eligible for the position, you must have language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

In order for you to thrive with us, you should have a genuine interest in general medicine and a willingness to work in teams with other professional groups. It is of great importance that you share the same goals and visions as us, which among other things means providing good and qualitative care. You are curious and attentive to the needs and resources of the patient. Additionally, you have a holistic view of both work and the patient and easily adapt to different circumstances. Furthermore, your work is characterized by being thorough, structured, and having a flexible approach. Personal suitability will be of great importance.
