Liden Health Center is a small, friendly health center in a rural area, about 4.5 miles west of Sundsvall, with approximately 2300 listed patients. Liden has one of Sweden's most well-known and photographed viewpoints with a magnificent view over the Indalsälven river from the top of Vättaberget. A place with stunningly beautiful nature and great opportunities for a high quality of life. Here, doctors, nurses, child healthcare, diabetes, asthma-COPD, incontinence and dementia specialists, nursing assistants, counselors, psychologists, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, and sick leave coordinators all work with a strong sense of teamwork. The staff has many years of experience and always do their utmost to help our patients. We constantly work to maintain good accessibility and strive for high-quality, close care for our residents.

We are now looking for two specialist physicians in general medicine for Liden Health Center. The positions are permanent with entry by agreement. Possibility of some digital work or remote work is possible. The positions are permanent with entry by agreement.

Job Description

We offer a stimulating and developing work as a general specialist, where you get to know your patients. The work includes investigating and treating patients in general medicine, performing health examinations, and collaborating with other doctors and professional groups in primary care. Connected to the health center are two municipal residences and home care. You work to achieve good and close care in daily operations and contribute to maintaining, developing, and improving patient safety, accessibility, and care quality. On-call duty is included approximately once every other month.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, especially the ability to collaborate and communicate, as well as an interest in rural medicine.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed physician with specialist competence issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare in general medicine
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Has a B driver's license
• Has an interest in patient safety and quality projects
• Is willing to supervise colleagues

It is advantageous for the position if you

• Have work experience in primary care
