Working as a substitute at our daycare centers is an exciting, varied, and educational job where you have the privilege of working with wonderful children and experienced educators.

The assignment involves being placed at different workplaces at short notice when regular staff are absent. Together with the team at the preschool, you will conduct educational work according to the curriculum and support children's development and learning. You will share the children's day through play, meals, gatherings, and outdoor activities.

Who are you?

You are a trained childcare worker and have previous experience working in a preschool. We are looking for someone who is willing and able to work a lot. We use a booking system that requires digital skills, and you should feel comfortable using digital tools in your daily life. You enter your availability in our staffing system, and bookings are sent to you via SMS. We use Medvind and prefer that you have experience with it. The workday can start as early as 06:30, so we are looking for someone who is a morning person and flexible enough to step in at short notice and take a shift the same morning. Since the preschools are spread throughout the municipality, it is a requirement that you can travel to all our units. We also operate an early childhood education activity for children from 1 year old in the Grönängen premises. For the work to function in practice, you need to have a driver's license and access to your own car.

Other

We work with ongoing selection during the period December - February. Since you will be working with children and young people, we want you to provide a record extract before employment. You apply for the extract digitally on the police website.

The preschool administration consists of three parts: staffing unit, child registration, and salary support. The administration is located at Havremagasinet. We provide support for the operations, and the tasks range from managing placements and queues in childcare to salary support for principals. The staffing unit books substitutes for preschool.
