Job Description

We are now looking for you who want to try working as a School Coordinator/Teacher in a shared position between the School Team and the School Social Team during the spring term. The assignment as a School Coordinator in the School Team involves ensuring and systematically monitoring the education of our community-placed children and youth. The assignment in the School Team covers 60% of the position. There is close collaboration with child welfare officers in social services as well as with placement municipalities and new placement schools.

The assignment in the School Social Team covers 40% of the position and involves supporting schools in particularly complex student cases together with other professionals such as coordinators, special educators, and family therapists. Both assignments require high demands on collaboration skills and independence. You will have many points of contact, many parallel cases, and you need to feel comfortable quickly learning new digital systems used in everyday life.

Above all, you should have very good relational skills, be well-versed in educational issues, and be able to collaborate in many different constellations simultaneously.

The position is a temporary replacement during a sick leave.

Qualifications

You have a teaching degree and experience in education. You will work on monitoring students in both primary and secondary schools.

You are confident, stable, and have self-awareness. You differentiate between personal and professional matters and act in a way that is adapted to the situation.

You have empathetic ability and can understand someone else's perspective or situation without taking over the person's feelings.

You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and different conditions for individuals. You adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient.

You are relationship-building, outgoing, and socially active in your work. You create contacts and maintain relationships.
