We are now looking for a full-time nanny for a family with four boys aged 8 and 6, as well as twins aged 15 months. The position will mostly involve focusing on either the two older boys or the two younger ones, as the mother is also at home and involved most afternoons. However, the nanny needs to be able to take care of all four children at times, especially in the evenings when both parents are away. The fixed working hours are Monday to Friday 14:00-19:00, and additional hours will be distributed as needed, mainly in the evenings, weekends, and sometimes during the day. The salary for a 75% position is fixed with the possibility of working extra hours beyond that. The nanny needs to be able to travel with the family for approximately 8 weeks per year and therefore needs to have a EU passport.

A driver's license is a requirement for the position in order to drive the two older boys to activities, pick them up from school, etc. Usually, the children are divided in the afternoon so that one adult is responsible for the twins and another is responsible for the older two.

The nanny needs to be orderly and help the children learn to pick up and keep things tidy. Cooking for the family is also included in the job. Cleaning is not normally included as the family has a cleaner, but the nanny needs to have a solution-oriented attitude, and if baking with the children, they may need to vacuum the kitchen. For example, putting on a wash with muddy football clothes after training that need to be dry for the next day. It is important that the nanny is self-reliant and can think several steps ahead to help with family logistics. The family is looking for a long-term nanny who ideally can stay for many years to come.

The family is very fond of the Montessori philosophy, and all the children have attended/are attending Montessori preschool. They want the children to grow up completely without screens at home, and it is important that the nanny can embrace this. They also eat very little sugar and are keen to ensure that it is not a common occurrence or offered as a bribe to the children. When it comes to cooking, they try to ensure that the children receive an organic and nutritious diet as far as possible.

The children speak/understand Swedish, English, and German, and the nanny can speak any of these languages with the children. The nanny needs to have experience in previous nanny work and extensive experience working with children of the specified ages.

The mother describes the two oldest boys as very independent, good listeners, active, and happy boys. They enjoy sports, playing football, skiing, ice skating, swimming, and being outdoors in the forest.

The two youngest are a bit more mischievous, curious, explorative, and often go in different directions. The nanny needs to be physically able to handle the active and relatively intense work of taking care of two such young children and also participate in their games and activities.

The salary for this position is set individually depending on the nanny's experience and education. Around 24,000-25,500 SEK/month for a 75% position, plus hourly pay for all hours beyond the 75% position. The position does not offer accommodation.

The family lives centrally located in Östermalm, close to many exciting activities and parks, but also near Djurgården's nature.

The position starts as soon as we find the right person. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.
