Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is social and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 50s living in Lidingö
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience in care and support
• can work in a home with pets

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience working as a personal assistant
• have a B driver's license and access to a car
• have experience with assistive devices such as a cough machine, suction, tracheostomy, PEG, and ventilator

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. As an assistant, you will also receive thorough training so you can perform your tasks in the best way.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The employment is a temporary position lasting until 2026-01-01 with a working time of 24 hours per week. Work will take place during both daytime and evening hours, covering weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be according to collective agreements.

Start date

13/1-25 or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
