Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You value the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to ensuring that everyday life runs smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are looking for someone who:

• wants to work with our 13-year-old customer living in Ulricehamn
• has very good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written
• takes a long-term view of your work
• is a non-smoker
• has a driver's license to drive the customer's car (manual transmission)
• has a car and driver's license to get to the workplace
• is in good physical shape, which is important for keeping up with the boy's daily life

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work, e.g., nursing assistant
• have experience working with children & youth
• have experience with oxygen and feeding tubes
• share the customer's interests such as A-tractors, video games, football (Djurgården)

Significant emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

The current form of employment is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts," and the position is at approximately 77%. The position involves work during the day, evening, and night.

Work hours/availability: Rolling schedule: Week 1 Monday 11:40-17:00 Tuesday 11:40-17:00 Wednesday 11:40-17:00 Thursday 11:40-21:00 Friday 11:40-17:00 Week 2 Wednesday 21:00-08:00 Thursday 21:00-08:00 Saturday 08:00-19:00. Awake night.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are provided according to the collective agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents that prove the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
