We are now looking for a project controller responsible for budgeting, forecasting, follow-up, and financial statements for a department and one or more research subjects. The position is a permanent position within operational support. You will be part of an administrative unit with colleagues working on economic, educational, and institutional administration, led by an administrative manager. The unit serves as a common resource for the entire operation, providing administrative support to management as well as researchers, teachers, research students, and students.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Establishing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements at departmental, research subject, and project levels
Ongoing reporting, project monitoring, and reporting to various financiers
Assisting with financial calculations and working closely with department heads, researchers, and project managers in research applications and reporting
Presenting the department's and research subjects' finances in various contexts
Providing decision support and communicating with financiers and other stakeholders

As a project controller with us, you will be part of the institution's finance function together with a controller, several project controllers, and financial administrators. You will also be part of the university's network for project controllers.

Qualifications: The position requires a university degree in economics with a focus on accounting. If you have worked for a few years in accounting and/or have experience in project accounting, it is a merit. The work requires a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities characterized by good cooperation skills and a strong sense of service. You are results-oriented, analytical, have a structured way of working, and find it easy to build good relationships with people in your surroundings. Furthermore, you should be able to work independently, be proactive in change work, and take great responsibility for your tasks. You should be able to be responsive to the management's and the operation's needs for support and requirements.

Scope and location: We are looking for a project controller for a permanent full-time position based in Luleå. Entry by agreement. Probationary employment may be applied.
