The mission of the Education and Labor Market Administration is to increase individuals' opportunities to find work and become self-sufficient through education, internships, and employment. We have, among other things, the municipality's largest collection of upper secondary education programs and courses for adults.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a temporary labor market investigator for our labor market support unit. In the role of labor market investigator, you work results- and solution-oriented to support residents in achieving self-sufficiency. You map the individual's resources and abilities, and together with the individual, you create a plan towards employment.

Based on the individual's needs for labor market interventions, you collaborate with staff from the municipality's administrations as well as with the Employment Service, Coordination Association, or other authorities and organizations to build on the individual's resources and competencies.

Together with the individual, you work on motivational change processes, follow up, and revise the labor market plan's interventions based on the individual's development. You are responsible for ensuring that the purpose and objectives of the intervention are anchored with both the individual and collaboration partners. You are responsible for documenting and reporting the basis for decisions regarding financial assistance to the Support Assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant degree in behavioral science, and it is desirable that you have knowledge of labor market issues, the Social Services Act, and experience collaborating with the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and healthcare.

You are good at collaborating and can easily adapt your way of conveying messages to the audience so that expectations are clear to all parties involved. You are structured and communicative, and you have the ability to create motivation, participation, and support individuals in driving their own labor market processes forward. You have a good ability to make visible, confirm, and provide the individual - regardless of background and circumstances - with opportunities to participate in working life.

You act based on our municipality's shared values and are a role model for other employees. You encourage participation and creativity, show personal care by providing support and confronting in a good spirit, both for your closest colleagues and for the organization as a whole. Through your way of acting and communicating, this approach spreads further in the organization and creates motivated and creative colleagues.
