Micropol is growing – and we are now looking for a Business Controller who wants to combine their financial background with an interest in technology and digital development.

About the role

You will be part of our finance department and work closely with our CFO. The role is broad – you will combine classic controller tasks with managing the development of the group's IT structure and digital working methods.

Micropol Fiberoptic operates in an environment with clear goals, a fast pace, and a strong focus on structure and follow-up. For you as a controller, this means you have an important role in ensuring that numbers, analyses, and processes maintain high quality – and that they are delivered on time.

You will work with analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, but also closely with production and other parts of the business to support follow-ups and improvements. Since we have subsidiaries abroad, your role will also be partially international.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with numbers and analysis, but also curious about how technology and systems can make things easier, smarter, and better. Perhaps you are someone who enjoys testing new digital solutions, troubleshooting tech gadgets, or solving everyday problems in your spare time – simply because you find it fun to make things work better.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. We believe you enjoy taking responsibility, find it easy to collaborate, and are unpretentious in how you solve tasks. You dare to try new things, are solution-oriented, and have a desire to contribute – both in daily life and moving forward.

You have:

• An academic background in finance
• Several years of experience in controlling, accounting, or similar
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Experience working in a Microsoft 365 environment

It is also meritorious if you have experience with:

• BI tools such as Power BI and/or working with SharePoint
• Manufacturing operations
• Monitor G5
• System ownership or project management within IT

Our headquarters and production are located in Åled, just outside Halmstad, and we are currently planning to expand with new premises in Halmstad, along the E6.
