About the position

As a Developer in C++ at ITAB, you will be responsible for technical design, architecture, and implementation of software for ITAB's products together with the development team. You will develop solutions on how new products can be realized and work on problem-solving of existing products. You will also have the opportunity to use your creativity by participating in improvement projects of processes, new ways of working, and development projects.

In the role as a Developer, you will work in the R&D department at ITAB. R&D in Sweden currently has three departments (Squads) with a total of 25 employees, where you as a Developer will belong to Squad Belted. Squad Belted is responsible for the development and maintenance of self-scanning systems, cash register systems with conveyor belts, and the next generation of exit systems. Your closest team consists of five colleagues, including a Team Lead, three Developers, and a Tester.

Your background and profile

For this role, we see that you have at least 6 years of experience in the field and good competence in C++ or C, System Requirements, CD/CI, Linux, Docker, Git, Unit testing. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

Furthermore, we see that you have a strong drive, are used to working independently, and come up with improvement suggestions. As a person, you are a team player with a humble attitude who wants to continue developing and sharing your knowledge.
