Job Description

Are you an experienced scientist looking to become part of a rapidly growing biotech company in the Lund area?

We are seeking an experienced Scientist in assay development and validation for their QC department. You will work in a dynamic environment, where you will have the opportunity to engage in exciting customer projects. You will play a key role in the development and validation of analytical methods to ensure the right quality in their products. Our client is a dynamic biotech company specializing in the development and manufacturing of products used in the production of biological medicines.

This is a 3-month consulting assignment (with the possibility of extension) within Randstad Life Sciences, offering competitive salary, benefits, and collective agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate analytical methods.
  • Conduct analyses primarily within projects and stability studies, but also support and perform other analyses in QC.
  • Write protocols/reports, SOPs, manage deviations, changes, and CAPA.
  • Be responsible for implementing and driving changes and improvements within QC.
  • Be an active part of our QC team and collaborate with colleagues to find solutions to analytical and technical challenges.
  • Contribute to the development of our work processes and routines with a LEAN mindset.

Qualifications

  • Have a degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
  • Fluent in Swedish and have good knowledge of English.
  • Experience in the development and validation of analytical methods, preferably from another QC lab or other experience with GMP/ISO standards.
  • Competence in HPLC and preferably MS, SDS-PAGE, or microbiological analyses. Experience with other analytical techniques, e.g., SPR, is a plus.
  • Have analytical skills and can work independently while enjoying taking on new challenges.
  • Be positive, flexible, and a good team player who thrives in an environment where change and improvement are a natural part of the work.
  • Experience with software such as OpenLab, ChemStation, CaneaOne, SAP, iChemistry, ImageLab, and Excel is a plus but not a requirement.
