Pipe Layer for Road/Water Supply Maintenance in Stenungsund

Stenungsund is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 27,800 inhabitants, located near the sea with good communication opportunities. The municipality aims to grow to 35,000 inhabitants by 2035 and strives to create an attractive and sustainable environment for its residents. Exciting development projects are currently underway in the city center as well as new construction of residential and business areas.

We are now looking for a dedicated and competent pipe layer to join our Water Supply team in the Operations Department. The position involves a variety of tasks such as renovations, new construction, and emergency repairs of the pipeline network. You will work both independently and in a team, providing you with a diverse work environment and the opportunity to further develop your skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Active leak detection
Renovations of pipelines
New construction
Emergency repairs

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with a high school education in construction or practical experience in pipe laying and construction work. Experience in water supply as well as a B driver's license is required. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is essential.

Additional qualifications include training in Road Work, Safe Excavation, Hot Work, or welding, as well as a driver's license for excavators and wheel loaders. Good computer skills are also beneficial.
