At Södra Cell, we offer a wide range of products in paper and dissolving pulp, created based on our customers' needs and with a sustainable society as a benchmark. Through innovations and efficiencies, we ensure that our renewable raw material is used as climate-smart as possible. At our facility in Värö, with nearly 400 employees, we produce not only paper pulp but also green electricity, district heating, and bioproducts.

As our colleague is retiring, we are now looking for his replacement. If you have experience as a project manager in mechanics and enjoy building relationships, this position may be right for you!

What you will work on at Södra

As a Project Manager in Mechanics, you will work in a varied role with diverse tasks that require both a helicopter perspective and detail focus. You will primarily work with projects, and depending on the nature of the project, you will function as either project manager or sub-project manager.

Other tasks include: -developing current project calculations, timelines, layouts, and technical documentation, as well as creating materials for funding requests -responsible for questions within your area of responsibility in procurements -leading or performing calculations, drawings, construction, and documentation work with a focus on mechanical construction and/or piping construction -assisting the organization with advice, evaluation of new technology, and conducting investigations -participating in self-control, inspections, and standardization work, as well as in the development of procedures within the management system. The position is a permanent full-time employment, based in Värö.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced project manager, preferably with a background in the process industry and who is used to leading projects from start to finish. If you also have experience from the paper and pulp industry, that is a significant plus. We are interested in both those with extensive experience in the industry and those at the beginning of their careers. You have the ability to see the big picture while also focusing on detail issues. You are self-driven and methodical in your work style and are motivated by achieving results. As a person, you are helpful and keen on creating good relationships and collaborations.

Other qualifications -engineering degree at the university level or acquired comparable education and experience -good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
