The role of Facility Technician with us

As a facility technician within the municipality, you will work with maintenance, repair, renewal, and new installation of water and sewage pipelines to ensure that the systems operate efficiently and safely. You will have a varied workday with the opportunity to work on different tasks, from routine maintenance to more complex repairs.

Your profile

As a person, you are a problem solver, engaged, service-oriented, loyal, cooperative, and a good ambassador for the organization. In your work, you are responsible, stress-resistant, and meticulous. You also take your own initiatives, work independently, and are flexible. We see that you find it easy to work both alone and in a team. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who has:

• good knowledge and experience in water and sewage pipeline work
• good computer skills
• Category B driver's license

It is meritorious if you:

• have a BE and/or C driver's license and have completed road work training
• have a high school education in water and sewage or other relevant education, such as KY education
• hold a PE welding license

Our offer and additional information

We offer a permanent full-time position with placement according to agreement.

On-call duty may be included in the position. Please note that the response time during on-call duty is 60 minutes to Kungsbacka central.
