Building Engineer / Architect / Property Technician or equivalent

As a property manager with us, you will be offered a varied and independent job where you have the opportunity to drive exciting construction projects. You will be part of our property group, consisting of four employees, and together you will be responsible for the maintenance, management, and development of our various buildings as well as facility management.

In this role, you will primarily work with community centers, but also with churches, mortuaries, office, and storage facilities.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be to manage various maintenance projects within technology and construction. The projects vary greatly, both in terms of content and size. As a property manager, you will coordinate, plan, and project manage contracts of various sizes and scopes. You will also handle ongoing and emergency maintenance for the different facilities as well as some administrative tasks. It is an independent role where you have a great opportunity to influence your work and make your own decisions but also belong to a team and collaborate with other employees in the parish. You are the face of our community members in daily operations and create and maintain good relationships with both employees and contractors.

Personal Profile

We are looking for an experienced and competent building engineer/property technician, or architect, with particular expertise in property maintenance, project management, and coordination of complex projects, such as buildings with cultural historical value. You should have knowledge of property law.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in similar work within property maintenance, project management, and new constructions

• Relevant post-secondary education in real estate, such as property engineer or architect

• B driver's license (both automatic and manual)

Start: Immediately/according to agreement

Extent: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Fixed-term employment for 11 months with the possibility of extension.
