The role of Connection Engineer with us

In this role, you handle questions about properties' and associations' connections to municipal water and sewage networks, including quality assurance of invoicing and development of the connection process. You collaborate with other units and administrations to create a smooth building permit process for residents. Your tasks include managing connection cases, calculating connection fees, and informing customers. You will also focus on stormwater issues, in collaboration with Kungsbacka's stormwater group, and handle questions of a technical, legal, and economic nature within water and sewage.

Your profile

As a person, you are service-oriented, structured, and cooperative. You are a good communicator and have the ability to prioritize, take initiative, and adapt to changes. You feel comfortable with digital tools and are open to continuous development. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who has:

• a completed relevant post-secondary education in the field, such as vocational college, or extensive experience in water and sewage
• a B driver's license

It is meritorious to have:

• knowledge of water and sewage tariffs and the Public Water Services Act
