Large Format Operator at Printforce

Printforce assists its clients with everything related to printing and visual communication. As a large format operator here, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the entire printing process from A to Z. Do you have experience working in a printing house and are you a bit of a nerd when it comes to printed materials – especially large format? Then you might be the person we are looking for!

ABOUT THE POSITION

Printforce does most things in printing and visual communication. This includes everything from printed materials, stickers to vehicle graphics, signs, and roll-ups. But also when it comes to originals and graphic design.

Today, we are looking for a meticulous and technically skilled large format operator. You will be responsible for large format production. It is an independent role that involves keeping track of incoming orders, scheduling jobs, producing, packing, and notifying customers when jobs are completed. You ensure that materials are in stock, such as vinyl, ink, laminate, etc.

You will be offered a stimulating and varied job where your main tasks include preparing files for printing, printing everything from posters and decals to signs and vehicle graphics. Additionally, customer service on-site, via phone, and email is included.

The job also involves quality assurance, troubleshooting, and resolving issues. You coordinate and ask for help when needed. But you are also prepared to pitch in wherever needed in the rest of the production. This includes post-processing of printed materials such as laminating, perfect binding, folding, stapling, and cutting – you will help each other out.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct the entire printing/work process
• Operate and monitor printers and cutting machines
• Material orders
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on machines
• Trimming of products
• Assembly
• Simple orders

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has worked with large format production for a while and enjoys it. Terms like bleed and crop marks do not raise any questions for you. You are familiar with different materials, print profiles, are meticulous and technically skilled. And you are still curious and keep up with trends, new materials, and techniques. You are comfortable taking responsibility for production, communicating with customers and colleagues. And you can work independently as well as in a team.

• Have experience in printing operations
• Have machine knowledge (printers, cutting machines, laminating, and RIP)
• Have an understanding of color management and the printing process (have good color vision)
• Have knowledge and experience with Adobe CS
• The job involves lifting and movement, so you need to feel comfortable with this
• Have a driver's license
• Can communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing and have some knowledge of English

It is an advantage if you have:

• Education in graphic technology or a similar field
• Experience with software such as Caldera / Fiery
• Worked with the entire printing process and other types of services within printing
• If you have also worked with simpler originals and prepress, it is a plus
