The Gothenburg Primary School Administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool class to grade nine, adapted primary school, culture school, and after-school care. The administration has 138 municipal primary schools where nearly 47,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has about 9,700 employees who work together to develop and take care of the operations - together we pave the way for the school of the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to work with us at Klareberg School. Klareberg School is a K-9 school located in Kärra center. The school is easily accessible via public transport as there are buses from Angered Center, Hjalmar Branting, and Central Station. The upper secondary school has about 340 students and is organized into three working teams, one per grade. We are now back in fresh, newly renovated premises together with colleagues from other stages.

We are now looking for a qualified teacher for teaching textile handicrafts in grades 7-9. If you also have qualifications to teach wood and metal handicrafts, it is an advantage. You will teach in half classes with shared mentorship in grade 9.

With us, you will be offered a varied job where you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. Together with your colleagues, you will design a developing, safe, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. The work involves collaboration with other teachers, student health, other staff, parents, and other actors outside the school. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach textile handicrafts in grades 7-9. Qualifications to teach wood and metal handicrafts are an advantage.

You are flexible regarding all everyday and long-term changes that are part of the pedagogical work. You have good collaboration skills and are good at building relationships. To motivate, inspire, and challenge students, your ability to show warmth and set boundaries is needed.
