Nya Skolan's Primary Schools F-9

Description

Nya Skolan Egna Hem is a family-oriented F-5 school with an actively integrated after-school program.

The proximity to the principal is great and collaboration is close between colleagues and the student health team. Here, you will work with competent and engaged colleagues with a holistic view of students and knowledge. At Nya Skolan Egna Hem, we develop both logical and creative abilities!

At Nya Skolan, we work in teams where there is a shared responsibility for all students within the team. When students are in school, the educators are present. In the afternoons, teachers prepare, document, and plan the activities together in their teams. We are now looking for a certified primary school teacher for grades 4-5. The position will be filled at the start of the school year in August 2025.

Qualifications

We see that you are an open person who is calm and secure in yourself, and where collaboration is taken for granted. You are creative, proactive, and self-sufficient, as well as positively inclined towards the development of the operations and the educational environment. In our teaching, we use ICT tools such as Smartboards and iPads and communicate with guardians via the learning platform InfoMentor. You should have insight into the school's governing documents and the laws that govern the school's operations, as well as experience in pedagogical documentation.

Nya Skolan works with age-integrated groups. The division is flexible and adapted to pedagogical needs and the interests and maturity of the children. Together, we create an atmosphere where knowledge is fun and learning is an exciting adventure.

Holistic View

Pedagogically, we work with wholes. We teach children to see connections and to develop conscious and reflective thinking. We work across subjects and are happy to find new, creative ways to stimulate students' quest for knowledge. It is about taking advantage of children's natural drive - curiosity - in all situations.

Students and teachers jointly set goals for what the student will do each week. The starting point is that the student is involved in their own learning.

Nya Skolan AB currently consists of four preschools and three primary schools located in Trollhättan and Lilla Edet municipalities.

Conditions

It is advantageous if you have several years of experience in the teaching profession and qualifications in multiple subjects. The position is a full-time seasonal employment. We apply a 6-month probationary period and recruitment is ongoing. Presentation of a criminal record extract is mandatory.
