CRONIMET Fagersta AB is a Swedish subsidiary of the global group CRONIMET Holding. We are leaders in stainless steel scrap recycling, where we purchase scrap in all forms and after sorting and processing sell directly to steel mills where it is melted down into new products.

With our 40 years in the industry, where our employees have extensive experience, we constantly strive to stay at the forefront in both knowledge and with new technical equipment.

We also have subsidiaries in Norrland with branches in 5 cities. The company's major environmental goal is to be CO2 neutral by 2030 within scope 1 and 2.

Your Responsibilities

As an Accountant with us, you will have an important and trusted role, where you are part of the accounting chain. Here, your accuracy, structured working method, and ability to keep the whole together even when the pace is high are valued. You will be part of an accounting team, and with us, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in a supportive and pleasant environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Daily handling of supplier invoices in MediusGo – registering, approving, and paying
• Handling of different currencies (SEK, EUR, USD)
• Liquidity planning in Excel
• Perform reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements
• VAT reporting and VAT declarations
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period. The work is scheduled during daytime hours with the workplace located in Fagersta.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with an interest in finance and accounting, who enjoys creating structure and order in their work.

We prefer that you have a background in finance, either through studies at university or by building your knowledge in the professional world. The most important thing for us is that you have experience in accounting work and feel confident in your role.

You have good system skills, and if you have previously worked in MediusGo, that is a plus. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. If you also speak German or Finnish, we consider that an advantage, as we have contacts outside of Sweden.

As a person, we believe you have an analytical mindset and can quickly identify solutions to problems that arise. You want to contribute to making the work as efficient and accurate as possible while valuing good collaboration in the workplace.
